Yesterday we had some great news: Congressman John Hall (NY -19) announced his endorsement of my campaign for State Assembly in the 102nd district against 14 year incumbent Joel Miller.

“We need Jonathan Smith working for us in Albany. Jonathan will bring innovative solutions to our toughest challenges,” said Congressman Hall. “Jonathan is the best candidate to represent the issues and values of residents in the Hudson Valley. I look forward to having Jonathan Smith as a partner as we work together on behalf of our constituents.”

Congressman Hall and I are both dedicated to improving education, the economy, and implementing tax relief. We both believe that bringing jobs to the Hudson Valley through clean energy technologies is an important priority.

It is such an honor to have John Hall’s support. I believe it is time to bring real leadership to Albany and I am proud that John Hall thinks I am the person who can do that.
