On May 22nd, the Dutchess County Democratic Committee voted to endorse our campaign by an overwhelming 60% majority. The enthusiasm and turnout at the convention was astounding - the room was packed, and there was a great energy about all the participants. With this kind of support and this level of excitement, we will go on to victory in November!

I would like to thank all of the members of the Dutchess County Democratic Committee, and every one of my supporters for their confidence and dedication to work for change. Your   commitment is a demonstration that  this county and this state desperately need new leadership and a new direction. I thank Gary Levine for his participation in the process and for running a clean and honorable race.

It is my hope that we can now come together as Democrats and support the decision of the majority. We need the help of all of the committee and the activists in our party to defeat Joel Miller in November.
